We turned to the people. More than 500 believers joined us.
Together, we raised over $315,000 — not just to fund a brand,
but to prove that craftsmanship still matters.
Five years later, after trials, setbacks, and transformation,
Ron Artesano stands stronger — not by chance, but by conviction.
A renewed team now leads the brand, united by a clear vision and a deep respect for the craft, the process, and the island that shaped us. 2026 marks a turning point. New expressions. And our spiritual home: Casa Artesano, in Old San Juan.

OUR RUMS — FROM THE OUTSIDE IN
The bottle came first;
the label took longer to find its soul.
What began on paper evolved through countless redesigns until a French partner introduced
us to a new craft — engraving and painting on tin.
The first labels were flawless, and that was the problem.
We didn’t want perfect; we wanted human.
Now, each label is engraved, painted, and then gently worn by hand, revealing tiny variations that make every bottle one of
a kind.
Our rum follows the same philosophy — no two are ever identical. Through unique fermentations, distillations, and blends, each release offers its own character and experience.

Fresh and alive, this “funky” white rum captures the soul of freshly cut cane. Its long fermentation and double copper pot distillation create a vivid expression — green, earthy, and vibrant, yet remarkably smooth. Notes of sugarcane juice, tropical fruit, and a subtle minerality reveal themselves sip by sip.

RESERVA ESPECIAL
ELEGANCE & BALANCE
A blend of rums aged 3 to 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels. Aromas of cane honey, vanilla, and toasted oak meet dried fruits — raisins, figs, and dates. On the palate, cocoa and candied fruit add warmth and depth, leading to a long, refined finish.

Each bottle hand labeled and numbered. Label is a combination of tin (metal), wood and paper. It’s complexity comes from a long fermentation with a double pot-still distillation.
Blend of rums aged 7 years in ex-bourbon oak barrels. Beautiful overproof rum with creamy nose and complex palate with long wood, dry fruits like figs and butterscotch flavors.
Reminiscent of a great 15 year old whiskey.

A collector’s limited edition — a 5-year-old rum finished in Madeira wine casks. Elegant aromas of ripe fruit, molasses, and oak meet hints of spice, vanilla, and caramelized sugar. The Madeira finish adds a gentle sweetness and a whisper of red fruit, giving this rum a layered, luxurious profile.
